Our Mission
Guiding Your District to Excellence in Data Management
As a consulting service for administrators, educators and support staff, we provide excellence in training to help schools/districts get the most out of their student information system.
We offer onsite, remote and web-based training sessions and support all aspects of State and Federal reporting data management. This includes NJSLEDS, PIMS data management and validation, assistance with PowerSchool® mandatory data migration, Contacts Consolidation and Report Updates, and customized report cards, including Standard-Based Report Cards for PowerSchool®.
Our goal is to help you achieve better results from all parties responsible for data entry and analysis and implement the school/district's vision of excellence in education. We are certified in PowerSchool® Front Office Management, Enterprise Reporting, Initial Product Training, & PowerTeacher Pro and proudly support PowerSchool®, with additional support for Genesis®, and RealTime® systems.

We provide comprehensive ongoing support through onsite, remote, and webinar-based training to help districts fully leverage their student information system. H.E.L.P. Hours (Highly Effective Learning Protocol Hours) are available for training personnel on setup and use of PowerSchool.

Scheduling
With Powerscheduler®
Scheduling of students is not done in a vacuum and is dependent on all parties cooperating and communicating through each step. To that end, working closely with relevant personnel responsible for scheduling students at the district and school levels, I have developed timelines and criteria that help to facilitate the process of scheduling diverse student populations.
A successful schedule requires the management of a scheduling team that incorporates data analysis of test scores, staffing and room availability management, request evaluation, summer school planning, and results. Using the expertise of years of scheduling at an urban school district, I have developed many tried-and- true methods for success that I would love to share with you.

State and Federal reporting requirements may seem like a once or twice a year commitment - the reality is that most districts wait until they need to do the report to verify the data. The data for these reports should be maintained on a daily basis so that when it comes to reporting times the extraction of the data is simple, easily verified and error free.
Working closely with the various personnel responsible for the maintenance of data to be reported to the state and federal reports. I will help the district better utilize the student information system to enable them to extract the necessary data and verify that data in a timely fashion.
Most reports require specific deadline dates and these are strictly adhered to. All data is verified with the appropriate district personnel to ensure the utmost accuracy.
Recommendations and training are put into place to help the district personnel maintain the data at its most accurate level.
Training
The key successfully using any product is to make sure that the end users are comfortable and familiar with its use. Training is offered at every level of competency and in every aspect of the student information system.
SIS WORKS provides training sessions with all supplied materials. We prefer to do our trainings in hands-on environments with actual data so participants can learn what is relevant to them. For any training we provide there is an added bonus of technical support for the trainees for ninety days after the session. We don't want anyone to walk away confused or unsure and not have the connection to ask the question they need answered. Only through accurate and constant communication can trainees become comfortable with the work and the system they are using.
Training is offered for groups or individuals. All training participants will have access to materials and support personnel to whom they can direct questions after the program.

Data Mining Reports: Specialized reports tailored to your district's specific data needs, whether it is information about particular sub-groups, testing data extracts or who is on the football team and their grades, we work closely with the district to develop exactly what they require, there are no canned reports, no one size fits all approach. Each report is created specifically for the requested data results.
